Center promotes the development and integration of the Bioeconomy Cluster
The National Cluster of Bioeconomy (CNB) will contribute with innovation and sustainable development initiatives, focusing as a primary objective on the competitiveness of industrial companies.
These will facilitate the national transition towards a sustainable and climate-resistant economy with the aim of attracting the involvement of strategic partners at an international level such as the Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo and the Instituto Global de Crecimiento Verde GGGI.
These organizations have the capacity to mobilize government and national and international private sector partners to channel the economic resources that finance the development and implementation of the Cluster. This effort of Public Policies has the support of the Ministerio de Ambiente (MAE) and the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) precise institution was subscribed in February of 2018.
